Projects/Programs
We offer weekly free clothes and vegetables for the community, distributed on Sundays at the garden. All clothes are donated by neighborhood residents and all food is donated by local bussinesses. We also offer free educational workshops on subjects such as farming, poultry care, and composting for all ages.
We also have provided free ESL english classes for the community. Thanks to all our great volunteer teachers for donating their time and expertise and to the Red Rhino studio for the generous donation for their space to host the classes.
We offer free garden building & maintenance to public schools & community gardens; providing them with the initial garden building, aswell as ongoing labor, supplies & upkeep asssistance. We have built a vegetable garden for PS 123, which the students maintain and love. If you know of a public school or community facility that would like a free garden, please contact us.
Bushwick City Farm hosts free public workshops, which we invite the public to participate in & lead! If anyone has any knowledge that they would like to share with the community in the form of a free workshop at the garden, please contact us!
